How it works

Four steps to move money across borders.

OrwaPay keeps the payment flow simple for users while routing the transaction through the right mobile money and merchant rails behind the scenes.

1

Choose the corridor

Select where the payment starts and where it ends, such as Uganda to Kenya or Kenya to Uganda.

2

Enter the destination

Add a phone number, merchant code, or business reference depending on the payment type.

3

Confirm the amount

Review the amount before the request is routed through the correct provider rail.

4

Track completion

Follow the payment through collection, settlement, and completion.

Supported rails

OrwaPay maps each payment to the right mobile money flow.

The platform resolves whether a merchant should be paid through PayBill, Buy Goods, or another supported rail and then sends the payment through that path.
